Birthday Celebrations

Well, our lil man has turned 2 now. This last weekend we had a big weekend of bday parties and Father's Day celebration. I think that our lil man had a great bday. He has a cousin who is a year older than him and has his bday just a couple of days after lil man. So, this year the boys had a joint bday party. My wonderful sister in law let us have the party at her house after she had spent the previous 3 days doing a garage sale. The party went great. Luckily the rain had moved out so we all could enjoy being outside. We have some friends who have a couple Moon Walks that we borrowed. It was lil man's first time in a Moon Walk and he LOVED it. All the kids had fun jumping around and running all over the place. We also had a pinata for the kids full of candy that they were very excited about. It was a great party and the boys both had fun. Here are some pictures from the birthday celebration.

He was so excited and having so much fun jumping.

He was so hot and sweaty after all the jumping.

Excited about cake.

He ended up w/icing all over his face and in his hair.

One of his gifts was a golf set from my parents. He loves to golf.
It was a great weekend with friends and family. I still can't believe my lil man is already 2!

Look Who Is 2!

Our lil man is turning 2 today! I can't believe it has already been 2 years? Where does the time go?! The picture is of him and his sisters doing one of their favorite activities this summer, swimming. He is growing up and changing so fast. Here are a few couple of cute moments he has had recently.

Lil man, his Daddy and myself were laying in bed the other night and I sneezed. Without hesitation he says "Bless You". With his sweet voice.

His new favorite color is orange, so every day he wants to wear an orange shirt. The poor kid only has a couple. Today for his bday he wore one of his orange shirts. He looked at me and said "Mommy wash." I said yes Mommy washed your shirt for you. Then with such a sweet tone he said "Thank you Mommy". I am going to cherish that moment when my son thanked me for washing his shirt, because I know it won't happen often.

He is really trying to put sentences together more and more and you can see him really thinking before he says something. We are so blessed to have him as our son and we are excited for what the Lord has in store for him.

Happy Birthday Lil Man!!

Family Camp

Well, I know this is overdue but better late than never :) Every year on Memorial Day weekend our church has Family Camp. It is a great weekend of renewal, fellowship, food and fun. It has become one of our family's favorite things of the year, especially for the kiddos. We have great classes where we are fed spiritually and then have play time. We go to a 4H camp that has tons of activities such as canoeing, horseback riding, shooting, basketball, swimming, etc. Needless to say the kids do not get bored. This year lil man had a lot of fun being older and doing more stuff. His big sisters keep busy just as much if not more. Our oldest was asked to sing in the talent show last minute, so she decided to write a song. She has a gift to sit down and write a song so quickly. It was beautiful! Our middle daughter kept busy each afternoon with swimming, shooting, canoeing, horseback riding and running around w/her friends. It was a great weekend and here are a few pics of the weekend.

We are having a.....

Baby! I know we are mean but we aren't finding out what we are having. Our middle daughter went with us to the sonogram and said she looked and knows we are having a girl. I guess we will wait and see in late Oct or early November. The sonogram put our due date at Oct 31. I am hoping Baby Lo either is early or on time but preferably not on Halloween. The sonogram went great and we were had so much fun seeing him/her moving around so much. Lo is a very active lil one. At the end of the sonogram Lo gave us a thumbs up telling Mom & Dad he/she is good :) It was pretty cute.

I was 18 wks on Wednesday and doing well. At my last appt everything looked good and Lo's heartbeat was in the upper 150's. At the sonogram the heartbeat was in the upper 140's. I'm still feeling good except for being tired but I can take that over being sick any day. Here are some pictures from last week.

I know that I am behind on posting and I hope to get updated this week. More to come....
