Well, it's for real now, our house is on the market. Yesterday I felt like such a huge burden was lifted now that it was listed. No more getting it ready but its ready. Now we have to keep it ready but that's another thing. We put the sign in the yard yesterday and it's ready to sell. I'm very excited about this new adventure we are starting although it is a bit scary too. I pray that our home will sell quickly and the new homeowners will love the house as much as we have loved it. I pray that we will find the right home for us in the right time and not become homeless, although my dad has already told us we can move in w/them for a while ;) There is a bittersweet thing to the deal though, our neighbors. We have great neighbors and have had them since we've lived there. It will be very hard to leave friends but I pray we will also find a new neighborhood that has great neighbors too. I'm excited to see what God has in store for us during this new chapter of our lives.

Cleaning....Cleaning....Cleaning
Well for the past few months we have been getting our house ready to put on the market lil by lil. Let me tell you with 4 kids it is quite the chore. We have been decluttering, deep cleaning and doing other lil things around the house. It amazes me how much stuff you can accumulate over time! We started this endeavor probably 6 months ago of decluttering. We have been storing several tubs out at my parents house. I have to say that that most of the stuff we decluttered and took out there we don't miss one bit. There are some things like books that we have thought about and gone out to get for whatever reason but other than that and a few baby items it is just a ton of stuff we don't miss. I told my hubby that after we move it is not coming into the house unless it is used and has a place, everything else is either thrown away, given away or sold. I hope I can stick to my guns :)
We are hoping that our house will be ready this next week to put on the market. I would be lying if I said I wasn't just a bit nervous about it. Not about selling it but mostly about keeping it showable all the time with 4 kids 2 of them being under 3! I know we can do it but if you could send up some prayers that our house sells quick and that we find a house quick that would be much appreciated.
I have to say with all this cleaning we have definitely found some things that we thought we had lost or didn't remember we had. One thing that my hubby was glad to find was some cleaning solution, it's called EZ Clean. It's this stuff that a guy sold to him that was a door to door salesman. It's supposed to be really good cleaner that can clean about anything and on glass it protects from fingerprints. The funny thing is a while back I was at my sis in law's and this guy came by selling EZ Clean. We listened to his pitch and then my sis in law said no thanks. Well I told my hubby about it and he said, No way that stuff is the best and I don't have any more of mine. Well now he can rest assured that he has EZ Clean. Hopefully it will work as good as he remembered. Clean windows w/o fingerprints would be great especially now.
Well, back to the grind of getting everything "perfect" for showing. Anyone want 4 kids to move in while we sell our house ;)

Bracket Busted!
Well let me tell you this has not been our weekend. As I mentioned in the previous post I was very excited about March Madness, and although I still love basketball yesterday was a sad day for my bracket. With KU losing my bracket busted, although I still have a chance to beat my husband which makes it nice :)
To start the weekend off though on Fri at 5p our garage door broke. Both torque springs at the front of the door broke. Leaving us w/both cars inside the garage and a door that can't be opened. Luckily our oldest parks in the drive and my parents were out of town so we could borrow their car. It did make for an interesting weekend of not going anywhere. With the cold and snow and us trying to get our house ready to put on the market it did make it a lil bit easier.
Needless to say our weekend hasn't been how we had visioned it going, but then again what is?? Whether we see it now, later or never there is a reason that things work out the way they do. God's plan is always better than ours and while I say that the weekend wasn't the best because stuff went wrong, it was good because I was with my family. So, just remember when your bracket gets busted, whatever that may be, there is the bigger picture that is better than you could've ever imagined!

Favorite time of spring
It's Awesome Baby!! March Madness is one of my favorite times of spring. I LOVE basketball and March Madness is the best time for basketball. I usually fill out a bracket w/some family members but it's just for fun. This year has been a great start. Even though a few of the upsets have messed up my bracket it has been some awesome games. I'm looking forward to the next couple of weeks of basketball, so if there is a game on chances are I am watching it either online or on tv. Hope you are having fun w/your brackets and enjoying some great basketball.
If you are wondering I am hoping for another Championship for KU!!

4 mos already?!
Well our lil guy is already 4 mos! It seems like he was born just yesterday. It is crazy how time flies but I guess it really goes fast when you have 4 kids and no time to slow down. Since lil guy was born at the end of Oct the months have flown by w/Thanksgiving then Christmas then our youngest daughter's bday. Before I knew it Feb was here and our lil guy was 4 mos.
At his check up today he weighed in at 15.2 lbs and 25" long. In the 50th percentile for both weight and height. As the dr said he is just your average healthy baby boy. He was a trooper and got 3 shots. He definitely let the nurse know he was not happy about it.
Our lil guy is growing and changing fast. He has found his feet and his voice. This morning he was just laying in his cradle talking and laughing to himself. It is fun to watch him change. He is pretty selective on who can hold him though and will let you know if you have not made "the list", haha. I'm hoping he will get more comfortable w/all the family.
Well that is an update for now on our lil guy. We are off to our oldest's concert tonight, we just never stop going :)

Sweet Surprise!
Well, since my last post I have been in a funk as my hubby likes to call it. I just get down and start stressing about different things, finances, house and all that jazz. Yesterday was one of those days. My hubby called me and after a short conversation told me I needed to get out of my funk. It was at that time when I started talking to God. I told him that I really needed one of my best friends here to help get me out of the funk. Well, not 2 seconds later my dear friend from down south messaged me on Facebook! God is GREAT!! So, I started "talking" to her and she asked if I wanted her to get me out of the funk. I said yes please. So she told me to call her. So, I immediately called her to find out how she could get me out of the funk. She said are you ready? I said yes please tell me something. Her response.................."I'm flying you out to see me in May and we are driving to my family's house on the beach!" My response......."Are you serious?!"
She had been planning this since shortly after Christmas. She talked w/my hubby and got everything arranged for me to be able to go. She was wanting to wait and tell me later but could tell I really needed it now. I'm so excited and thankful for a wonderful friend and hubby who arranged it all. Now I have something to look forward to when my day gets off track.
It was pretty cute when my hubby told our daughters our youngest daughter is worried how they are going to make it w/o mom. That always makes mom feel good :) But I know that my hubby is more than capable of handling all 4 kids and if he had to he could always call for backup ;)
